Congratulations!

Fleming College

Fleming College provides on-going program collaboration on various projects, such as Credit for Product projects, which involves 3 to 5 student co-op placements annually.

Fleming College has also been involved with inventory work to support Conservation Area Master Plan development, water quality sampling and participation on the Executive Liaison Group for lake management planning in the City of Kawartha Lakes.

We are happy to say that, in addition, Fleming and Kawartha Conservation will be signing a formal MOU in 2012 for increased partnership opportunities.

Oak Ridges Moraine Foundation

Without support from the Oak Ridges Moraine Foundation, the protection of East Cross Forest and the creation of Durham East Cross Forest Conservation Area would not have been possible.

The Foundation has also made many other contributions to moraine protection, such as through their landowner contact program and the Oak Ridges Moraine newsletters which have been instrumental in developing awareness of the many Moraine features and values, as well as promoting the many stewardship events and ongoing activities that now take place.
