Ken Reid Facility Reservations

Looking for a location to hold your event? The Ken Reid Conservation Area maintains three picnic shelters complete with parking lots and basic washroom facilities. These can be reserved by members of the community for a nominal fee. The seating capacity for each shelter is approximately 70 guests. The meadow picnic shelter is located a short drive from the main entrance, the second is the beach picnic shelter situated at a short distance from the beach and the third is the group camp shelter, which can be booked by community groups for day or over-night visits.

Reservation Process

Please contact Catherine Hennings by phone at 705 328-2271 ext 211, or email Catherine at chennings@kawarthaconservation.com to request a shelter reservation form. The form and supplemental information can be sent to you by by mail, email or fax.

Once the completed paperwork and payment in full have been received, you will be sent a confirmation receipt of your reservation. Please note that our office can only accept cash or cheque.
