Meadow Picnic Shelter
The Meadow Picnic Shelter is the first shelter you reach coming into the conservation area. It is located across from the Administrative Centre and Field Centre in Ken Reid Conservation Area. It is well suited for groups of up to 70 in buses and individuals looking to picnic and use the 1 km trail on level ground. Outdoor washrooms are available at this site.

Beach Picnic Shelter
The Beach Picnic Shelter is located close to the beach area on Sturgeon Lake in Ken Reid Conservation Area. This shelter can accomodate up to 70 people and is ideal for swimmers and groups with children. The playground facilities located here make it a family friendly spot. Outdoor washrooms and changerooms are available at this site.

Group Camp Picnic Shelter
The Group Camp Shelter, in Ken Reid Conservation Area, is best suited for large groups of up to 70 who need both picnic facilities and a large surrounding field. Overnight camping in this area is also available to community groups, such as Boy Scouts, Girl Guides and others. (Please visit explorekawartha.com for nearby non-group camp sites.) Campfires are limited to this location, by permission only. Outdoor washrooms are available at this site.
