July 26, 2021 – “A mouse took a stroll through a deep dark wood,” but what awaited the mouse on his journey? Beginning Saturday, July 31 and continuing throughout August, the latest Story Walk at Ken Reid Conservation Area will feature “The Gruffalo”, a story of a clever mouse and a gullible beast, written by Julia Donaldson. DECEMBER 2, 2020 –Kawartha Conservation and the Kawartha Lakes Public Library are launching the popular Story Walk at Ken Reid Conservation Area this Saturday, December 5, featuring the popular children’s book ‘The Snowy Day’ by Jack Ezra Keats.
