Blue Canoe Program

Beginning in 2006 the Blue Canoe team members have paddled along the shores of the lakes in our region.  Equipped with knowledge about lake health, shoreline management and restoration techniques, they have travelled dock-to-dock answering questions and helping landowners take to help improve the health of their lake.  During this time they have engaged with thousands of shoreline landowners and helped them to initiate positive change.

In 2018, the Blue Canoe program will be on hiatus as we develop a Lake Management Plan Implementation Strategy. We will be reviewing all of our outreach program to make sure that they provide the best service possible to our community.

Thank you for your interest in the Blue Canoe program.  Please direct any suggestions for future outreach programming to our Stewardship Coordinator, Holly Shipclark This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..
