JUNE 7, 2022 – The Fenelon Falls Brewing Co., kick-off to summer dinner experience event with Kawartha Conservation goes this Thursday night, June 9 at 6:30 at the brewery in Fenelon Falls overlooking scenic Lock 34, and one lucky person in attendance will walk away with a $250 gift certificate courtesy of Pineneedle Farms.

Tickets have been selling quickly for this fun event, which includes a four-course meal paired with four of the brewery’s amazing craft beers, including the Kawartha Summer Ale – the beer collaboration partnership between Kawartha Conservation and the brewery.

“We’re really looking forward to joining friends and community members at Fenelon Falls Brewing Co., for a wonderful evening of great food, great beer, and a great reason to celebrate – the kick-off to summer,” said John Chambers, Marketing and Communications Specialist with Kawartha Conservation.

“Since our opening we have been focused on operating our business with respect for, and appreciation of the environment,” explained Fenelon Falls Brewing Co., Head Brewer Russell Gibson. “That is why we are proud to partner with Kawartha Conservation so that the funds raised go back into supporting our environment, our lakes and rivers, and our communities.”

Held in the Fenelon Falls Brewing Co.'s upstairs taproom overlooking Lock 34, dinner will include a four-course meal paired with four hand-selected beers, including the unofficial beer of summer in the Kawarthas—the Kawartha Summer Ale. Proceeds from the evening's dinner will also go to support environmental initiatives across the watershed.

“Thanks to the generous support of Pineneedle Farms, one lucky person in attendance will also walk away with a $250 gift certificate to use at the Pontypool-area business,” said Kristie Virgoe, Director of Stewardship and CA Lands. “We’re so appreciative of the ongoing support of Pineneedle Farms and their unwavering commitment to the community, the environment and to the work we do here at Kawartha Conservation.”

Pineneedle Farms is a third generation tree seedling grower. Paul Richardson and his sons Lucas, Kyle and Jeffrey proudly continue the tradition that Paul’s dad began back in 1958. Pineneedle Farms specialize in ‘native’ species although you will find lots of other plants, tree seedlings, shrubs and trees at their site.
