Kawartha Summer Ale

MAY 24, 2022 – To help celebrate our third annual Kawartha Summer Ale partnership with Fenelon Falls Brewing Co., we’re excited to announce an unofficial kickoff to summer celebration dinner at the Brewery on Thursday, June 9.

“This is going to be a great evening of amazing food, beer, laughter and conversation,” said Fenelon Falls Brewing Co., Head Brewer Russell Gibson. “We are proud of the partnership we have with Kawartha Conservation and the important work we have been able to support; this dinner is a wonderful celebration of our partnership and that work.”

Held in the Fenelon Falls Brewing Co.'s upstairs taproom overlooking the scenic Lock 34, dinner will include a four-course meal paired with four hand-selected beers, including the unofficial beer of summer in the Kawarthas—the Kawartha Summer Ale. Proceeds from the evening's dinner will also go to support environmental initiatives across the watershed.

“We’re fortunate to work with such great partners and a great local business in Fenelon Falls Brewing Co.,” said John Chambers, Marketing and Communications Specialist with Kawartha Conservation. “From day one, this partnership has enabled us to connect with audiences and share the important work our talented and dedicated staff at Kawartha Conservation undertake everyday. We appreciate the support of Fenelon Falls Brewing Co., and the amazing response we have had to the Kawartha Summer Ale each summer.”

The evening will begin at 6:30 p.m. and includes four incredible paired courses that are sure to impress.

“I have been a huge supporter of this partnership since it began,” said Kawartha Lakes Mayor and Chair of the Kawartha Conservation Board of Directors, Andy Letham. “This is a great example of how local business can support the important efforts of protecting our natural resources, lakes, rivers and all of the things’ visitors and residents love about Kawartha Lakes, while Kawartha Conservation supports local business.

“This partnership is a win-win for all of us,” Mr. Letham continued. “I am looking forward to enjoying the kick-off to summer celebration with Kawartha Conservation and Fenelon Falls Brewing Co. and encourage everyone to join me in this evening of great food, beverages, friends and all in support of a great cause.”

Tickets for the dinner are $34.95 per person, and seating is limited, so book early to confirm your space for this wonderful evening.

Tickets can be purchased on the Fenelon Falls Brewing Co., website at www.fenelonfallsbrewing.com.
