Proposed 2026 Fee Schedules Open for Public Comment

Kawartha Conservation has released its proposed 2026 Schedule 1, 2, 4 and 5 Fees for public review and comment. The proposed updates were approved by the Board of Directors to proceed through a 30-day consultation period.

Our fees help support programs and services that protect and enhance the health of our watershed. Community feedback is an important part of this process, and we welcome your input before the fee schedules are finalized.

The draft fee schedules are available below for review. Comments will be accepted for 30 days, closing Sunday, March 29, 2026.

Comments regarding Schedule 1 and Schedule 2 Proposed Fees can be directed to kmccabe@kawarthaconservation.com.

Comments regarding Schedule 4 Proposed Fees can be directed to dmarcouxhunter@kawarthaconservation.com.

As per the Information Requirements section of Ontario Regulation 400/22 of the Conservation Authorities Act, below are the approved Fee Schedules for programs and services provided through Kawartha Conservation.

Fees

Kawartha Conservation charges fees to cover the cost of programs and services that are not supported by municipal levy, grants or other revenues. Fees are charged in accordance with the Conservation Authorities Act and the User-Pay Principle. Further information on how our fees are determined can be found within the Fee Policy.
