April 27, 2020 –. Due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, Kawartha Conservation has reduced its full-time and contract staff by nearly 60 percent effective Friday, April 24, providing only services deemed essential through the Province’s declared State of Emergency.
DECEMBER 22, 2020. – On the cusp of a second provincial Covid-19 lockdown, which comes into effect on December 26 and continues until January 23, Kawartha Conservation is taking steps to make sure the community can continue to enjoy Ken Reid Conservation Area and spend time in nature this winter in a safe and enjoyable way.
September 16, 2020. – Kawartha Conservation’s website, which launched in April of this year, has been recognized as the Best Environmental Website, finishing with the highest score in the Environmental Website category of the WebAwards.
