    bringing together the inspiring work of our team and sharing it with you, our community. Each edition has been a chance to highlight the passion and dedication that drives our mission to protect and preserve
    the natural beauty of our watershed.

  • Watershed Conditions Statement - Water Safety issued through December 31, 2024

    Based on information received from Environment and Climate Change Canada, Ministry of Natural Resources - Surface Water Monitoring Centre and Kawartha Conservation is issuing a Watershed Conditions Statement starting Saturday, December 28, 2024, and remaining in effect until the end of day Tuesday, December 31, 2024. 

  • The Illuminated Forest at Ken Reid Conservation Area open for 2024

    LINDSAY, ONTARIO - The Illuminated Forest at Ken Reid Conservation Area is now open, offering a simple and enjoyable way to experience the outdoors this holiday season.

    The trail, located on the Escarpment Trail at the front of Ken Reid Conservation Area, is lit with thousands of lights, creating a peaceful and festive evening walk for individuals, families, and friends. Open nightly from 5 to 9 p.m. until the January 3, 2025, the Illuminated Forest provides an opportunity to spend time outdoors and connect with nature during a busy holiday season.
