Kawartha Conservation’s 2026 Fall Native Plant Sale will run from August 10 to August 31, offering residents a limited opportunity to purchase native plants that can reduce maintenance, improve soil stability, support pollinators, and strengthen their properties.

For the past 12 consecutive months, Kawartha Conservation has met or exceeded the Province of Ontario's prescribed timelines for reviewing and issuing permit applications, marking a significant milestone for the organization's Planning and Development Services Department.

This spring, Kawartha Conservation worked alongside a range of community partners, stewardship organizations, Indigenous representatives, volunteers, and participating property owners to complete a series of fish spawning shoal enhancement projects on Lake Scugog.
