Winter tale 'Sneezy the Snowman' begins on the Story Walk Trail

JANUARY 31, 2022 – Beginning now and for the entire month of February, visitors to Ken Reid Conservation Area can read ‘Sneezy the Snowman’, the newly featured story along the Story Walk Trail.
Written by Maureen Wright, ‘Sneezy the Snowman’ is a tale about cold winter weather, a snowman that is sensitive to the temperature, and friendship. Each time Sneezy tries to warm up from the cold, he begins to melt into a puddle, relying on his friends to build him back again.

December 11, 2020 – Kawartha Conservation’s 2021 Tree Seedling sale is now open with a great selection of Evergreens, deciduous trees and shrubs. The program offers native species as well as advancing species which aren't currently found naturally in the Kawartha Watershed, but they are migrating from the South as the climate warms and are becoming more suitable in the Kawartha watershed.
