JULY 26, 2022 – A stream monitoring project led by members of Trent University’s Environmental Geoscience Research Group is now underway in the Kawartha Lakes with support and funding from the City of Kawartha Lakes and Kawartha Conservation.

JULY 18, 2022 – Get ready to walk, bike or hike conservation areas across the Kawartha watershed as part of the second annual Explore Nature Challenge.

Following last year’s successful event at Ken Reid Conservation Area, the Kawartha Conservation Foundation has expanded this year’s challenge to include Windy Ridge, Pigeon River, and Durham East Cross Forest Conservation Areas.

JULY 11, 2022 – Kawartha Conservation is hosting a series of community nature walks throughout the summer at local conservation areas in Kawartha Lakes and Durham Region.
