FEBRUARY 6, 2023 – Visitors to Ken Reid Conservation Area can once again read the beloved children’s tale ‘The Mitten’ as it makes its second appearance along the Story Walk Trail for the entire month of February.

January 26, 2023 – Kawartha Conservation is excited to announce that it will be participating in the Love Month initiative organized by Kawartha Lakes Food Source. The event will feature a spectacular lighted trail at Ken Reid Conservation Area, located near the off-leash dog park. Kawartha Conservation is hosting free Forest Therapy events on Bell Let's Talk Day

JANUARY 20, 2022 – In support of mental health and Bell Let’s Talk Day, Kawartha Conservation will be hosting three free Forest Therapy experiences on Wednesday, January 25 at Ken Reid Conservation Area, with sessions running from 9:30 – 11am, 11:30am – 1pm, and 1:30 – 3pm.
